Pilates is a holistic body workout with a particular focus on strengthening the deep postural muscles of the spine, torso, abdomen and pelvic floor – also referred to as ‘the core’. Its applications are wide-ranging: Pilates can help combat chronic back pain, complement endurance training, strengthen pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy, reduce belly fat and create a more streamlined overall body shape.

My primary aim is to meet the needs of each course participant. As well as selecting exercises to suit the abilities and requirements of the whole group, I also support each individual without interrupting the flow of the class. The purpose of every training session is to develop core strength and stability, increase endurance and improve flexibility – promoting higher levels of well-being and improved performance in all aspects of daily life. All workouts take place on a training mat, occasionally with additional equipment such as bands, balls, Pilates ring or black rolls.
Ageless with Pilates
Pilates as a fountain of youth for body, mind and soul. This training method challenges the mind and body, softly strengthens your muscles and enhances your quality of life as a holistic workout.
Pilates for seniors promotes the mobility of muscles and joints, prevents age-related muscle wasting, improves respiratory function and strengthens the immune system. In addition, Pilates can significantly improve balance and mobility.
A private session allows me to focus exclusively on your individual requirements. Following a preliminary consultation, I will compile a training programme that is entirely tailored to your needs. This enables me to address specific concerns (be it posture problems, back pain or particularly ambitious training goals) in the most efficient manner. Private sessions are recommended if you wish to work towards a specific target, suffer from disc or back problems, or simply in preparation for joining a group session.
